Nuzhat Faruqui (Pakistan) — Course Director · Yasir Rasheed (Pakistan) — Course Speaker
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify appropriate indications for urodynamic testing.
- Perform and assess the quality of urodynamic studies.
- Interpret urodynamic traces using a structured approach.
- Recognize and troubleshoot common artifacts.
- Apply findings to guide clinical decision-making.
- Demonstrate practical understanding through simulator-based learning
Course Description
Urodynamics remains essential for evaluating complex lower urinary tract dysfunction, yet many clinicians lack confidence in performing and interpreting studies. This highly practical, case-based course integrates didactic teaching with hands-on experience on a urodynamic simulator (first-of-its-kind exposure).
Designed for urologists, urogynecologists, fellows, residents, and continence professionals, the course addresses real-world challenges in performing, interpreting, and applying urodynamic findings. Participants will gain structured interpretation skills, understand common pitfalls, and directly practice study acquisition and troubleshooting in a simulated environment.
The course bridges the gap between theory and practice, equipping clinicians with actionable skills and confidence to utilize urodynamics effectively in clinical decision-making.
